Did Anyone See Santa? The CAFO Rescue Christmas Fayre 2023

CAFO Rescue held their 3rd Christmas fair at Coppenhall Club in North Street, Crewe, and raised much needed funds for all their cats that they have cared for this year.

Sonnet Radio presenters attended to get the festivities underway with music and hosting the favourite game, Play Your Cards Right. Santa was in residence to greet delighted children and give out presents.

Cafo and many other local Charity / Trader stall holders raised an amazing £2500 from sales, raffles, games, donations, and stall fees to pay vet bills for injured cats and the ongoing vital care that the local rescues provide for animals as well as scanning strays and tirelessly volunteering to rescuing animals at all hours of the day and night.

As usual, there were some fantastic Cakes (sold out by 3pm – well done bakers and helpers!), handcrafted items, pet themed gifts – handcrafted Christmas pompom wreaths, decorations, pet related items, Cafo Christmas cards and calendars.

The Tombola’s and Bag a Bottle stalls were as popular as ever, with something for all ages. Ongoing sales are available at the CAFO Rescue Selling Page on Facebook for those who couldn’t attend, but who wish to grab one of the many gifts, calendars, and cards etc. still before Christmas (we can recommend the handmade Gonks – very good quality and detail!) 

All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon, and many thanks / congratulations must be given to all the people involved – too many to list, but every contribution made a difference to the work that Cafo do.
